 " I am passionate about having a better connection with other humans - getting to know them at a deeper level and helping them as much as I can." Jenny credits the nursing program and Otterbein's tight-knit community for helping fuel her passions. "You feel appreciated for who you are - and at the same time a lot of people want to help you develop your strengths." 


She says the opportunities that came with transferring to Otterbein are helping her grow. She traveled to Spain last summer for a European art history course. "It was my first experience outside of the country. I wouldn't have been able to do that without the funding Otterbein has for its students."

La Trice Washington, Associate Professor of Political Science at Otterbein, teaches classes during presidential election years that draw directly from current events to bring life to the topics in the curriculum. Multiple news outlets interviewed Washington for her vast knowledge on the election.
